Spotlight Post 1: The Upcoming Novels
Starting April 30, 2021, I will start selling my upcoming novels here.
So far I have written two duologies, which comprise four novels. Let’s call the first duology the ‘Forever’ one, and the second duology the ‘Replicant’ one. All four novels are finished. The ‘Forever’ novels are ready to be published, while I still need to adapt the ‘Replicant’ novels after beta reader comments (which will be ready well before publishing time).
The schedule is as follows:
Forever Curious—publication date: May 1, 2021;
The Replicant in the Refugee Camp—publication date: November 1, 2021;
Forever Thrilled—publication date: May 1, 2022;
The Replicant, the Mole & the Impostor—publication date: November 1, 2022;
The ‘Forever’ duology tells about a young heroine—humanity’s champion—called Na-Yeli Maya who enters a huge alien structure (called ‘the Enigmatic Object’) in order to unravel its secrets. Many aliens have gone before her, few have returned, and none have succeeded. More about Forever Curious on the sales page.
The ‘Replicant’ duology, well, here’s my pitch:
A world barely recovered from Covid-19 is captivated by ‘Who is the Replicant’, a reality event in which ten participants—one a replicant—perform tasks in a refugee camp on a Greek island, where circumstances are dire and riots a regular occurrence.
The ‘Forever’ novels are shorter—about 60,000 words each—and will, as such, be cheaper (depending on where you buy them: directly from me, or via vendors such as Apple Books, Google Play and Amazon). Pricing will be given and explained on the ‘Behind the Scenes’ page.
The ‘Replicant’ novels are longer—about 110,000 words each—and will be, as such, more expensive (again depending on where you buy them). Even if the first one will be launched in November 2021, I’ll give you the intended prices already.
Also, by way of testing the waters, I will be offering the novels as a subscription service; that is, you can subscribe (either via Ko-fi or Patreon) and then get each novel (starting, obviously, with Forever Curious) in 500-word sections on weekdays. This amounts to approximately 10,000 words per month, so your subscription with the ‘Forever’ novels will last six months per novel, and with the ‘Replicant’ novels will last twelve months per novel (and I will fill up any gaps with short stories).
